Judy Ann Kamen is a passionate and experienced piano instructor offering personalized lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your technique, Judy creates a welcoming and supportive environment for learning music from the comfort of your home.

At Judy Ann’s Piano Studio, students may choose between in-person lessons or online lessons via secure video conferencing. Each lesson is carefully designed to build strong technique, musical understanding, and expressive performance.

STUDIO POLICIES

Attendance and Cancellations

Regular attendance is expected for consistent progress.
24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full lesson fee.
In cases of illness, emergency, or inclement weather, please contact the studio promptly to discuss rescheduling or an online lesson option.

Students (and parents) have access to the My Music Staff Student Portal to:

View lesson schedules
Download assigned music and resources
Review lesson notes and practice goals
Track practice time
Pay invoices securely online

Payments

Invoices are issued monthly through the Student Portal.
Payment is due by the first lesson of each month.
Accepted payment methods include venmo, zelle, mastercard and visa

Practice Expectations

To achieve meaningful progress, students are expected to:

Practice at least 30 minutes daily, 5 days per week
Review assigned materials and goals as outlined in lesson notes
Maintain a positive and consistent practice routine

Materials

Students are responsible for purchasing assigned method books and sheet music. Supplemental resources may also be provided digitally through the Student Portal.
